New Years Resolutions

Happy 2020!!!

The beginning of a New Year is a great time to change habits and start fresh. Many people change their eating habits, start exercise programs, or quit smoking. Starting is fantastic, but what is the problem with New Year Resolutions? They don’t usually last. Making the change is great, but continuing the change is where the difficulty truly lies. How can you keep a change going? Turn it into a habit. Don’t look at it as starting a diet or going on a crash fitness program. Slow and steady wins the race! Why? It creates a habit. Don’t diet, make small changes to your eating habits. Getting rid of old habits and creating new ones is the key and one way to do that is repetition. If starting at the gym, start slow and easy but schedule regular times to go. This kind of repetition will turn into a habit and soon you will go to the gym automatically as part of your new habit!!!
